WCAG PDF accessibility audit
Audit PDFs against the statically determinable WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 criteria.
What it checks
- The determinable WCAG success criteria at A / AA / AAA for PDF content
- Text contrast where it is measurable from the file — documents with mixed or indeterminate rendering report the criterion honestly instead of claiming "Supports"
- Info-and-relationships / meaningful-sequence checks backed by real tag-to-geometry correlation
- Section 508 and EN 301 549 jurisdiction profiles that reference the same criteria
FAQ
Can a PDF fully "pass WCAG"?
No static tool can honestly claim that — several criteria need human judgment. Preflight verifies the determinable ones and explicitly lists what it did not evaluate.
Which standards can I select?
WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 (A/AA/AAA), PDF/UA-1 and PDF/UA-2, plus Section 508 and EN 301 549 profiles.
What happens to my documents?
Uploads are tenant-scoped, encrypted at rest, and anonymous uploads auto-purge within 24 hours. Result pages are token-gated and never indexed.
