What does the USPS module check?
IMb barcode integrity on every upload; and — where the barcode payload + page geometry are decodable (e.g. AFP) — field-level (routing code, service type), presort qualification hints, address-block geometry against the Domestic Mail Manual, and Move-Update timing. Mail.dat file sanity and IMpb are on the roadmap (not yet run on uploads). The USPS rule version is recorded on every result.
Are the results a guarantee of USPS acceptance?
No. Compliance checks are deterministic and auditable; presort and Move-Update outputs are advisory hints, not a binding USPS ruling — verify before claiming.
Can I lock the rules to a specific USPS publication?
Yes — pin a rule version per workspace so a campaign re-runs against the rules in force at the time, even after USPS publishes an update.
